Fencing in a club is fun and may be sufficient for many people. For others though the lure of fencing and beating others at a tournament is the thing they want to do.
We support the development of fencing for young people both in the region, nationally and internationally by running three competitions each year:
- A North West Junior Series tournament – we were one of the initial supporters of the series and always volunteer to run one of the the tournaments
- A Leon Paul Junior Series tournament – we have also started running a LPJS épée tournament to assist in the development of the weapon in the region
- The Manchester Cadet tournament – we were one of the original organisers of this tournament and still help to run it in conjunction with our sister club Salle Kiss.
